Hi, I'm Karsen!
I am a graduate of Kansas State University with a Master's in Interior Architecture & Product Design.
I grew up in the small town of Beloit, Kansas. There I lived on a farm and helped my family raise cattle and hogs. We also had a few dogs, horses, and lots of cats! While growing up I was in 4-H, where my passion for photography began. I had always loved art, but photography was where I was able to really tap into my creative abilities and I quickly fell in love with it. After developing my photography skills over the past 12 years I can easily say that I feel at home whenever I am behind a camera, and I rarely miss an opportunity to capture the beauty that God created.
Throughout my time in college I have learned that I am very people and family orientated. I will always strive to put people first. Along with that, integrity and authenticity are important to me, especially when photographing people. I want my clients to feel comfortable and enjoy the process of having their photo taken. While working with various individuals I’ve found that the best way to truly understand what the client needs is to ask the right questions. Once I’m clear on what is expected, I can then develop a plan to meet the client’s specific needs.
